About Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre

Since its beginnings 33 years ago, Whitsunday Community Services Inc has grown into an organisation that provides support programs for people who are experiencing disadvantage or are vulnerable due to poverty, low income, deprivation, capabilities and social exclusion; people who are experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, separation, divorce, domestic violence and/ or crisis; and people based in rural and remote areas located within the 4800-4802 postcodes.

The Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre has become a place where people can come together and tap into their community, creating a strong neighbourhood and hub of community activity.

Residents can access opportunities to enhance their health, social, educational and economic well-being. The Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre supports local people to become more active, confident and resilient, and forms an integral part of the social fabric of the Whitsunday community.
